I have a large 17 inch Gateway laptop that I thoroughly enjoy using. I have been using it along with an ugly medium-density foam pad that is 3 inches thick and 16 inches long by 11 inches wide. It has been quite comfortable but is a hair magnet. Very unsightly!

After reading several reviews about laptop coolers, I decided to get the LAPINATOR PLUS for its longer dimensions than the regular LAPINATOR so I could have that extra surface for a mouse.

When I got the Lapinator Plus I immediately fell in love with the way it helped cool my laptop by keeping it elevated above a "Thinsulate" heat insulating surface. I used it on top of my ugly foam pad, but the angle I was trying to achieve was not quite there yet.

Then I saw the Belkin Cush Top Notebook Stand and I wondered if my LAPINATOR PLUS would rest well on top of it to achieve the ideal angle I was after. I ordered a green one on sale although I would have preferred the brown Chocolate/Blue one.

My LAPINATOR PLUS is longer than the Belkin Cush Top Notebook stand, but it rested on top perfectly! The two products used together gave me the perfect keyboarding angle I was after!

The one review that said the Belkin Cush Top Notebook Stand didn't do anything to appreciably cool a laptop was a mute point with me because I already had that problem solved with my LAPINATOR PLUS.

I was just hoping that the two products would be compatable and they were in absolutely smashing fashion!

The Belkin Cush Top Notebook Stands works perfectly with either the regular LAPINATOR or the LAPINATOR PLUS.

That is why I call the tandem use of these two products as "A PERFECT MARRIAGE!".


AMAZON HAS THE BEST PRICE. I realized as soon as i got my laptop I had to have something between it and my skin or anything it sat on. These things get really hot. I didn't want anymore cords hanging so I bought it to try and I love it. My daughter bought me a table at the same time and i never use that.This is great. I've never had my laptop (Toshiba 2 duo) get hot,never shut itself off. When I've been on it a long while I check the temp with my hand and it is just barely warm.The design lets it carry the heat off in two directions. it can't build up in the pad with the opening in the middle. There is an air flow all the time. You can feel the heat coming out of the opening. It does the job, I stuff my mouse in the opening when I am through (stops all that searching, put spare cords in there. it's handsome, I'm going to buy another one for a gift. No problem with fan noise although i hear that the one with a fan (the plastic one) makes no noise either. The price is good and the brand name is reputable.


This really makes having my laptop on my lap comfortable. It keeps me from being hot, and probably allows the computer to cool also.


I bought this in conjunction with the sleeve of the same color about 6 months ago. This is a great product. Before my husband would watch tv while using his laptop and he would complain about the heat from his laptop. Now he's on his laptop for hours with this stand without any complaints. The stand may get a bit warm, but your legs dont, plus the angle of the stand makes typing easier.


This is the greatest product. I use it everyday. It hs a non-skid surface so my computer does not slide off and it makes typing much more comfortable. I have ordered another one as a gift for someone else.


the cush top notebook stand is great for my Asus mini notebook. It is at a perfect angle to sit on the sofa or the bed with. It is also ideal for putting my small mouse in when not it use. I would highly recommend it.


Nice and firm, but still very lightweight, this notebook stand sits at an excellent angle. No need to prop up the feet on the coffee table anymore, and if your notebook produces heat, you're not going to feel it anymore!


I bought this to keep my laptop from overheating and shutting off on it's own, and it did not prevent this. However, it did help when I put my laptop actually on my lap. It raised it up and tilted it enough to where my carpal tunnel hasn't been bothering me. The overheating does get old and I will be buying something else for this, but I will sit it on this product and then sit my laptop on top of that.


This little lap desk works like a charm and it looks great too. We liked it so much we ordered another one.
