This notebook was the exact type I was looking for, but when my order arrived I realized that I'd ordered medium sized notebooks instead of the 9X11 size. It looks like size info has been added to the info page, which is helpful. The notebooks are good enough quality that I went ahead and kept them, and will order more (in the larger size).

For 2009 I picked up the large version of this daily planner and I am in love with it. I've tried everything from composition notebooks to Palm Pilots to Franklin Covey planners of various sizes, but this Moleskine Daily Planner is by far the best. I used it all of 2008 and it was perfect for my needs. One day per page is the perfect amount of space for me. I use it to track to do's, voicemail messages and various notes from meetings. If you're a copious note take, you might need another expandable solution. It's just the right size to take everywhere and the hard cover kept it in great condition all year long. I threw this in and out of a computer bag everyday and it looks as good today as it did a year ago. The only wear was very minimal at the at the top and bottom of the spine. This was easily hidden via a few strokes of a black sharpie. I have the 2009 version in front of me and it seems to be of the same excellent construction.



Note that the lead picture is deceiving. This planner is not the size of a pen but somewhat larger (8+ inches). I highly recommend this to someone that uses a daily planner, but doesn't want to lug a Franklin Planner everywhere he or she goes.



You will need to suffer through cracks from you cohorts asking what you're writing in your little black book or bible. You may also pick up the moniker "Preacher".

I first started using the Moleskine daily planner in 2007 and have already purchased one for 2009. What I love about this is that it combines the quality of the regular notebooks with remarkable functionality. For instance, I utilize it only minimally as a planner but use it primarily as a log for what I have read and seen. Because a lot of my work involves watching TV shows and movies, I like to record precisely what I have watched each day, along with the page counts of the various books I have read in. There are several blank pages at the back and I use these to record how many times I have heard an album all the way through (I have the personal rule that I will not review any album on Amazon unless I have heard it ten times, which partially accounts for why nearly all my record reviews dispense four and five stars -- if I don't like an album I simply don't reach the requisite ten listens). Thus, I use this far more as a diary or work log than as a planner. I've always been blessed with a good memory and rarely find that I need to write down a future appointment or date.



Because I use this far more to record what work I have gotten done and because I more work on my own projects more on Saturdays and Sundays than I do during the week, I really love that this planner devotes a whole page to both Saturday and Sunday. Too many planners give a half page to each day, the very days that I actually need more room for than other days.



I do, however, write down future appointments and for this the planner is admirable. Again, its layout allows for flexibility. The hours are marked from 8 to 8, but the numbers are so small and unobtrusive as to leave a very light footprint on the page. If you want to use the page differently, you can easily do so.



This is one of those few items that I have come to rely upon so frequently that I can't imagine doing without it. Every time I leave the house I have my messenger bag containing book, notebooks, iPod, pens and pencils, and planner. I can't imagine many not being delighted with this. I will add that in 2007 I used the regular sized daily planner, but in 2008 I switched to the large planner. I definitely recommend the larger size. If you, like me, intend to use this more as a journal than a planner, the extra space for writing is quite valuable. While I have not used the 2009 large daily planner, I can tell that it will be of far greater utility. In short, a huge thumbs up.

but you get what you pay for with the Kodak 5100 All in One printer and these black cartridges.



I can't print very many black and white pages with these cartridges. They run out of ink too quick. They are small and do not have much ink in them - which is obvious from how light they are right out of the package. Go figure they are only $10 as opposed to much more expensive cartridges from all of the other brands.



To complain even further the Kodak 5100 All In One printer is as slow as molasses. It is the slowest printing printer i've ever owned. I have to print everything in draft mode to get it to come out at a decent speed - and then the quality is drastically reduced.



Furthermore, when the color ink runs out the printer renders itself useless. You can't even scan documents into .pdf files until you replace the black cartridge! What the heck kind of crappo design is that Kodak?!?!?!



I've owned three HP inkjet printers which all eventually died, one HP laser printer which died too, and currently the Kodak 5100 and one Canon PIXMA 1600 inkjet. Go with a Canon if you are looking. I will buy Canon PIXMA printers from here out. They are fast and are high quality at the same time.

After buying and using 3 sets of refurbished ink from Abacus 24/7, I learned the hard way that they are not the same as Canon. Yep, they are cheaper, but you get what you pay for. After about a year of using off market ink, my ink jets became completely clogged. Cleaning and deep cleaning provided no relief. $150 later for professional repair and replacement with actual Canon ink finally fixed my i9900.

I have been using Canon photo printers (S900 and i9900) since 2002. Has been printed thousands 4x6s, hundreds 8.5x11s as well as some 13x19s. It is an expensive habit for me. For reducing cost, I had tried different brand printing papers and replacement inks. I am still using replacement inks and other brand paper for no-important printing. However, my experiences tell me that if you want to get the best photo quality from Canon printer, you have to use Canon paper with Canon inks.

I use this Ink with my Cannon i9900 printer. I've used this setup for the last 3 years and could not be happier. I take professional photographs of a wide variety of subjects and they are sold/published widely. When using a high quality photo print paper this ink produces amazing results. If you have a Canon i9900 like I do it's the best way to stock up on ink. Sure you have to by individual tanks sometimes but for the most part the 8 pack is the way to go. With free shipping and bulk pricing you can't get genuine canon ink for much less.

I don't think this ink requires any comments. It's genuine from Epson, period. It's perfect for the Epson printer it's designed for. I don't have a problem using third-party inks on my cheap everyday printers. But for professional quality jobs on a pretty expensive (at least when we bought it a few years ago) Epson Photo R1800 -- genuine ink is the only way to go.

The Epson black UltraChrome Hi-Gloss ink cartridge provides superior resistance to water, fading and smudging. It is important to me that my prints are of high quality, so I don't attempt to use the cheaper compatible ink cartridges. The color can be duplicated, but all inks are not created equal. I always expect quality and convenience from Black n' Red and this is what I am getting with these notebooks. In addition to the 96 lined sheets you get a date planner, 3 year calendars, a personal info. sheet, various conversion tables, maps, time zones info., even the subway maps of 4 major US cities.

Another positive: it fits well inside my laptop case.

This product is appropriate for the purpose I bought it for, which was to write in. It is true to the picture shown and description given. I am happy with this product and am satisfied with the amount of information given before purchasing.


For years I used composition notebooks for journaling, but then I met this. The size is comfortable to write in, the paper surface takes ballpoint and gel pens nicely. It is well-crafted. Mine has an attached scarlet place-marker ribbon. The inside boards are noisily papered with odd maps and information. I kept the maps but covered what I did not need with vellum to make a place for jotting down quotes. The sheets are not perforated, which means no threat of a page growing ragged or falling out from use. Given its size, it fits okay in a tote or laptop bag, but may have problems being slipped into a backpack.

Canon 106 Black Copier Toner Cartridge for imageCLASS MF6530 and MF6550

This is the lowest price I have found for this product. The big-name stores charge over $30 more. I have purchased 3 now and all were excellent quality, delivered quickly, no problems at all.


Not sure how much I can say about a print cartridge. Either it works, or it doesn't. This works. Installation is fast and easy, so no complaints. Lasts about as long as they claim it should. Obviously it would be a lot nicer if it were half the price, but that's how the manufacturers sell their printers at ridiculously low prices -- they make it up on the cartridges.


I have a Canon ImageClass 6550. I have used it to make copies of my notes and homework for a class I teach in Chemistry because I am not compensated for it. With 28 students and making printout of homework that altogether consist of 8-19 pages 28 times (224-532 pages) which uses up the cartridge fast. I also make printouts of my notes which could be 30-60 pages per chapter (840-1680 pages). This uses up the cartridge fast. Alternatively, when I make copies the density is too high and I have to lower it manually. Moreover, I have to take the cartridge out and reshake it several times; otherwise I get white streaks on printout. So switching between copying and printout is not without problems. So I dislike using the 6550 for copies because I believe it uses up the cartridge faster. Moreover for the same usage of about 3000 pages, I can use an HP 1320 with a cartridge that costs $76 from HP. This Canon cartridge costs $155 and is slowly rising. The Canon cartridge strikes me as being doubly expensive. Which would you rather pay, $155 to Canon or $76 to HP for 3000 pages? I think the cartridge is not competitive in price and performance compared to HP.


A wonderful and efficient machine to work complicated documents like double-sided printing and pdf. The ink is high volume and Amazon has the best price.



This product was ordered weeks ago and finally got an email that said that they no longer stocked this product. So, never delivered.
