A science teacher introduced this pen in class and they are amazing erasable pens. They come in blue, black, red, purple, fushia and highlighter colors. They write in a dark ink and come off better than pencil/eraser.
Highly recommended for students whose teacher requires everything in pen and want the work to look neat.

I've read the customer reviews...I bought these gel erasable pens yesterday. Tell me folks, what am I doing wrong..Mine do not erase...a very slight bit disappears, but both do NOT erase. Doing a crossword with these pens is out of the question.They are probably very safe for signing legal documents.(or the two I own are )

The pens are really nice but out of 9 pens only two worked and those two ran out in less than a week. I'm returning them to the store. If everyone returned their pens, Pilot will have to fix the problem.

I ordered these pens, they write great and even erase. They were advertized as Pilot FriXion Ball Fine Point, Black/Blue Erasable Gel Ink Pens, Dozen Box, 31550" at $1.79. Shipping was $6.00. So it lead me to believe I was getting 12 pens, while it was just one pen. Thankfully I ordered 3 and paid $6.00 shipping. Watchout with these wording games from RESTOCKIT. Now I know how they sell stuff online.

I can't live without these pens!! The are the best writing quality, and once the ink dries you can erase completely, no residue (if you erase while ink is wet, it gets messy, so be patient!). These are great for the eco-friendly, as instead of having to get a clean sheet of paper when too much information is outdated, you can simply erase and keep the same page!

As all of my books are first written in long hand, I've tried countless pens looking for the perfect one that will actually help me with super smooth fast writing, and supreme comfort. This is the best pen, and my absolute favorite one for writing.
The key is the grip. I write for many hours non-stop, and the grip on this one has produced far less pain in my hand. The flow of the gel ink is excellent. I have to write very quickly, and this gel ink makes that not only possible, but a lot easier.
I have to stock up on this one, and while I don't like to spend a lot of money on a pen, with this one it's an exception. It takes the stress off of my hand, and for that it's worth the price.
Also, the ink seems to last forever. I'd suggest this pen for anyone who does a lot of writing!

One of my sisters-in-law recommended Dr. Grip to me about ten years ago when I told her about my carpal tunnel syndrome. This pen is neither too fat nor too skinny, which makes it great for writing book chapters in longhand. I own both the ball-point and the gel pen versions, and they work great.
What I like best about the gel pen is the quality of the ink. It doesn't skip while I'm writing, which has been a huge frustration with other gel pens. I also like the fact that I can find refills for these pens easily, both online and off, and at a reasonable price.
This pen is both easy and comfortable to hold. I have some arthritis in my hands, so I am very picky about that. It is also easy to write with. The gel is smooth with no skipping, and I can push down hard enough to write on carbon forms if needed.

I never used the pens, so these comments just relate to the transaction. I ordered what I thought was 42 boxes, but received 42 pens. Amazon needs to correct the listing as ReStockIt is selling them per piece, not per dozen. After much rigamarole, I finally got them sent back without charge, but the confusion was frustrating. I won't trust quantity listings here in the future.

If you want a pen that writes finer than the V7(FINE), try the V5's(EXTRA FINE) they have a really fine point. It almost "scratches" the paper that you are writing on. They make more than just the V7's. Check it out. I will not write with anyother pen. The only negative about the pen, is the fact that the ink does not last very long during normal usage.
I write a lot every day. I have tried virtually every pen from every manufacturer over the last ten years, including gels and fountain pens. No pen I have ever used has had the combination of smooth flowing, semi-bold ink, that doesn't leak or smear. The retractable design was a clincher for me. Excellent value for the money. I liked the V5 also but it was a little too fine for me style of writing. Surprisingly long lasting.
I was excited when I first saw this pen thinking that it would be able to produce a very fine line, but that's not the case. There is nothing fine about the way this pen writes. I find that the Pilot G-2's write finer than this one. Overall a bad pen.

I bought these pens hoping that the thin point would be compatible with my vintage Spirograph and they worked perfectly. (Ball point pen tips had a narrower profile in the late 60's when the toy was invented, not all modern pens will fit through the holes.) I was worried that the liquid ink might smudge, but it wasn't a problem. Excellent pens.
I am a "pen-aholic." I've purchased many packs of pens for the pretty ink colors and have been disappointed by many. However, these are quite honestly the best pens I've ever used in my life. With terrible handwriting and a need to write very fast (in med school), these pens provide extremely smooth, fluid writing with constant use. The pens write very boldly, but the extra fine tip allows for great precision. The only flaw of these pens (which cannot be helped) is their high tendency to bleed through the paper. Therefore, I only write on one side of the paper. Definitely worth it though! They are especially useful in drawing out complex diagrams whose elements need color differentiation.
No one can fit everything on teensy little lines. This pen is a unique extra fine tip that is so fine that you can fill out very tiny spaces CLEARLY.
There are many fine point pens out on the market and pilot has some of the very best on the planet and this extra fine tip is worth the money and has earned the RICH CHICKS Rave Review. We love these because they stay firm, the tips do not bend, and the ink lasts a long time because the point is so fine.

I LOVE these pens.
I've used red ones every day work for almost 2 years, and blue ones for over 3. I have everyone I work with hooked on them.
They write smoothly, and easily (important for me - I have carpal tunnel syndrome), and the smaller barrel is a great factor.
They will write on almost any kind of paper, even tissue-thin self-carboning paper.
They rarely skip, and won't clog or dry out, even if you leave the cap off all day.
I prefer the V7 to the V5, but the V7 doesn't come in all the same colors, so I have both.
I use up at least 1 V7 red pen every 4 weeks or so. The colors stay bright even 4 weeks after I write on something.
