You can find more sheets of paper for less money in similar paper products, but not of this quality. Those inexpensive pads are adequate for younger children; we all know how they often enjoy scribbling one line per page and then tossing the unfinished "work" ... or pasting it to the fridge AS IS! Daddy's little budding artists ... lol ...
But this Strathmore product is definitely for the more advanced artist who wants a sketch that s/he can frame, if desired. This paper is of a higher quality in an aesthetic cream color, appropriate for highlighting details of the artist's best illustrations.
Since each pad contains twenty-four 80lb. acid-free sheets per spiral-bound pad, that's approximately six sheets per dollar. What a bargain!

I love these 2500 paper packs. I don't know why some reviews have has an issue with the paper quality; this is standard quality laser printer paper in a standard brightness level. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the product, and prints on it turn out beautiful in both black-and-white as well as color. The carton is now shipping nested in a larger, thicker brown cardboard box, so shipping problems described by other reviewers are a thing of the past (at least those caused by shipping the paper without proper protection). When Amazon puts these cartons on sale, they're much cheaper than buying a ream of individually wrapped paper like you get at an office big-box store. This is standard (and by standard I mean excellent) quality printing paper at a great price. You can't go wrong here.

The easy to open box without internal wrappers seems like a great idea except Amazon ships the box without an outer-box, so the box that you are stuck with is covered in grime and dirt when it arrives. If Amazon would ship the box within another box to protect it from damage and dirt, this product would be a great idea. Now I am stuck with a 2500 sheet box of paper that is dented, torn, dusty, and partially covered in an unknown sticky black residue.

Buying this was my first adventure in using name brand photo paper. Although I've owned a Canon Pixma 6000D printer for several years, I'd been using glossy and semi-gloss knock-off brand photo paper to save money on my many printing projects. After deciding to spring for the manufacturer's paper, I was thrilled to discover that this paper produces vivid photo prints every time. The matte finish means almost instant drying, and no smudges or streaks. For the extra money, I save time and avoid the frustration of having to tweak the printer settings to accomodate the knock-off brands. The one disadvantage of matte paper I've encountered is that you need a very sharp blade in your rotary trimmer to avoid the slight fraying of the edges that will occur with a dull blade. A dull blade is more forgiving on glossy and semi-gloss, since they have a plastic-like coating, but as long as your blade is sharp, this matte paper will give you excellent prints that trim like a charm!
This is great scrap book paper.
Its heavy weight--but its not a good choice for photo paper.
I wish they had advertised that this was scrapbook paper instead of photo paper.
I ended up running to Office Depot and getting some quality photo paper...that didn't cost me shipping ;)
I have a Hewlett-Packard printer that has always given great results with my color and black-and-white photos. I've been buying my printer photo paper at local department stores and have had good results no matter what the brand. Since I constantly seek "more bang for my buck"--without sacrificing quality--I decided to try this product.
That's part of the fun of shopping, don'tcha think?
Because of mixed reviews by Amazon's value-savvy customers, I kept my fingers crossed when ordering this photo paper. I'm not a professional photographer, so I did not do product tests; I simply compared the photos to my previous print-outs.
I can honestly report that my crossed fingers switched to "thumbs-up" the moment I saw the lovely, quality prints produced on this paper. The colors are so sharp, so true-to-life, I find myself reaching out to touch my beloved subjects ... little gestures of love that warm my heart.
Taking photographs to treasure is part of the fun of day-to-day living, not to mention vacations. I recall once when visiting Nevada, my granddaughter Melinda taught me how to "pump gas" for the very first time. We laughed when she said, "Oh, Gram-cracker"--her personal pet name for me--"I wish I had my camera. This is a Kodak moment!"

I have been a fan of this matte paper for a few years now and it continues to work for me. It holds the details and shades well, carries the color and looks great under glass. I usual print on the 8.5 X 11 to proof before I print to the 13 X 19.
Great quality matte paper. When printing from my Pixma 4000 printer it renders the image a little less vibrant compared to using the semi-gloss paper or glossy. This is the nature of this paper. I use it for reprints of older period pictures to maintain an older look.
Whatever format you print from 4 x 6 to 8 x 10, this paper captures all the detail without the high gloss of other papers. The colors are rich, the detail exceptional. It's easy to view prints using this product because there's no glare from local lighting.
I am totally amazed with the qualities of this paper. Colors are vivid, tones are well defined no matter how subtle they are, and the details are so finely crisp you want to touch them to make sure they are not alive! And the paper is very affordable. I have always loved matte paper; now Canon gives me one powerful reason to stick with them. One very important note though: make sure to print using the whiter (working) side of Canon papers, or you will be sorely disappointed!
I use this paper to print out photo proofs at events. It's great. No drying time needed. The color comes out great. And it's a matte finish so there are no fingerprints.
This paper takes a huge amount of ink. Looks fine. Won't last unless under glass, unlike the glossy. Maybe 18 months.

I recently tried this paper to use with my HP inkjet printer that is about two years old. I am very impressed. In fact, this multipurpose 108 brightness paper (yes, that's what they advertise, 108 brightness) by Epson gives you something to sing about! I use this paper with my inkjet printers; and I can use it to make signs to tape to my front door indicating to delivery people which doorbell to ring! Actually, it's good for just about anything I need to print with my inkjet printer, including intense colors or artwork from a webpage that I want to keep in printed form for my records. The paper may "buckle" ever so slightly if you have to print a large square, circle or rectangular shape in a single color; but this "buckling" isn't too noticeable.
In addition, this paper practically never jams in my printer at home. Nevertheless, I always fan the paper to make extra certain that it doesn't jam. After I fan the paper to make sure two pieces of paper aren't stuck to each other, then I place it in my inkjet printer tray.
Each page is a clean cut 8 ½ inches by 11 inches. Great! Although they don't say this, I would imagine that this paper can also be used in copiers, plain paper fax machine and maybe even in laser printers. If you want to use this paper with laser printers, print out a test page or two before you buy several reams.
This paper never "goes stale," so stock up on it if you can catch a sale on it. As of this writing, the Amazon price seems a bit high so check with Amazon to make sure that the above price is correct.
In any event, this is excellent paper; and I highly recommend this product.
This paper is really not worth its price. I fail to see anything even remotely special about its brightness, weight, or overall quality.
For important printouts I use the Epson High Quality Ink Jet Paper (sold in packs of 100 sheets), which is pretty much pure perfection. This "bright white" paper would not be good enough (by my standards, anyway) to use for a resume, for instance - there are too many imperfections in the paper itself (like, specks of stuff in it).
We used to get a low-end Quill brand at the office, and I think *their* paper quality was more consistent.
Also, it wasn't packaged tightly enough - quite a few pages got crumpled around the corners because of that, and the boxes themselves were ripped around the corners.
I ordered this paper advertised as Bright White Paper. Unfortunately I did not look for the numerical brightness rating before ordering. There is none, not on the site, not on the box. The reason for this is that the paper is not bright at all. Strictly false advertising. The package even looks like substitute paper was put into the box. This paper is dingy which makes prints look dingy.
There's no reason to order this paper when you can get comparable paper delivered from Staples or Office Depot at a fraction of the price. Also, after making the switch to that generic paper, I've experienced fewer jams on my inkjet printer.
When I received this package I realized the box was missing its top. As I looked over the packaging I realized the box was a older Epson paper box, and the paper inside was not even close to the quality of Epson Premium White Paper (I had another real box to compare it to).
Someone had just taken cheap plain printer paper and placed it in a opened box and passed it off as Epson.
The Epson Premium Bright paper is a nice, bright white paper; however, it's just to thick for most ink jet printers and causes horrible paper jams. I actually returned a Brother All in one ink jet printer, because it would jam on every sheet. My new HP J6450 also jammed on this paper. I'd go with a lighter weight paper, otherwise you maybe pulling pieces of it from inside your printer.
I purchased this paper for everyday use because it was available on Amazon Prime. Now, I know why it was on Prime - inferior quality and high mark up. This Epson paper is more of the $4.99 quality not $8.99. Print on this paper is more gray than black and letters are "fuzzy" and not crisp. This is evident on both Everyday and Normal settings on my HP Inkjet printer. One could NOT use this paper for anything formal or important. Faxing anything printed on this paper results in very poor fax quality for the receivers. I compared it to two other everyday papers I use and it was the worst of all by far. HP Multipurpose paper (20 lb.) is much better by far AND less expensive. IMB Ultimate Inkjet paper (24 lb.) is top-of-the-line for everyday use but its availability is limited. The Epson paper was the least "white" compared to the other papers referenced above and the packaging has no Brightness rating on the box. Like noted by other reviewers Amazon packaging was poor resulting in the paper covering being torn and the corners of the paper being bent and creased. This was evident on BOTH packages of paper that I purchased. If you need paper a trip to the store for a different brand of paper is much better than Amazon Prime free delivery. You will pay double the price and get poor quality with this Epson paper!
I am by far an expert on computer paper, but this paper definately suits my families needs. I would recommend this paper to anyone who is seeking a good quality paper at a fair price.
This is good paper. You can write things on it. You can put it in your printer or copier and create new documents or copies of old documents with it.
Its really good paper.
You can also use it to make paper airplanes. Or for garbage can basketball.
Note: I do not recommend wiping your buttocks with this paper. It's very scratchy.
The Amazon image of this paper indicates it is 108 brightness. When I received the paper, the Epson boxes had no brightness number on them at all. When I compared the paper brightness to some 104 that I had, I found that this paper is probably closer to a 97. I will certainly not buy it again and Amazon should remove the image from their site that shows it to be 108 brightness.
