Amazingly, this multi-purpose cart with lid will collapse to a mere three inches in height. This means you can take it just about anywhere you might need it without worrying about tripping over it when its not in use. When you are ready to use it, it opens in seconds. The cart lid doubles as a seat you can sit on if you're in line, and "triples" as a step stool that will support up to 250 pounds. Made of aluminum and heavy-duty plastic, the cart is durable enough to carry up to 80 pounds. The cart rolls around on two easy-glide wheels and features a collapsible handle for easy maneuvering.--Josh Dettweiler

 "Versitile Cart" 2009-09-08
By Arlene Kirk (Devils Lake, ND)
I love this cart for toting groceries and all kinds of items. I live in an

apartment only a block from the grocery store, drug store, etc. I haul everything

in it. I even use it if I go to a store I have to drive to, but put the things in

it to take them from the car to my apartment. I live on the 4th floor, but we have

an elevator, so I don't have to use the stairs. AK

 "Office Depot Version Sells for $12.99 - $19.99" 2009-09-06
By TaiPan
I don't normally go out of my way to disparage products on the internet. But you need to know this.

I bought the Quik Cart when it first came out years ago. It is a MASSIVE waste of money. The extension handle began sticking-- and eventually froze-up permanently-- in less than a year.

Office Depot sells the EXACT SAME CART (their version is black with a gray top) for $19.99. I have purchased these Office Depot carts for as little as $12.99 when they are on sale! As mentioned above, the Office Depot cart comes with a cover as well.

I have been using these Office Depot carts for years. They have NEVER broken or cracked-- after being woefully OVERLOADED. The extension pull arm and handle on every Office Depot cart I own operates the SAME today as they did four+ years ago. I use at least one of these carts every day.

If you get them on sale... The Office Depot price is SO CHEAP you can leave one cart in the car and one in your house... And you've still spent LESS MONEY ON TWO CARTS than you would spend here for ONE Quik Cart! (Plus... Office Depot offers 20% OFF Coupons almost EVERY WEEK!)

I have probably bought 20 of these Office Depot carts as gifts. Everyone raves! (The last one I bought for my Postal Carrier to save her back... She adores me now!)

My 78 year old mother drags one of these Office Depot carts through mud, grass and rocks to do her gardening in her BIG back yard. The cart carries all her garden plants and supplies (gloves, spades, etc.) She then places the top on the cart... And SITS on the cart while she digs holes in the ground! (Not recommended for a heavier person-- the cart top most assuredly is not heavy duty enough for anyone weighing over 120 pounds or so.) When Mom finishes her gardening, she RINSES the cart off with water and puts it in her tool shed. She uses another one to drag her groceries into the house. She has bad arthritis in her hands (and has had 2 hip replacements!). She laughed when I first gave these to her... Now she uses them ALL the time.

Go to Office Depot. Buy one there. Then think kind thoughts of me when you SAVE MONEY & SAVE YOUR BACK! :-)

 "Not very stable" 2009-07-12
By A Cannon (Livermore, CA)
It's okay, but I'm fearful of loading more than 20lbs in it. It tips easily while toting only 10-15lbs. The retractable handle is REALLY rickety, it feels like it may snap off at any time. Wish I paid more for a better, more sturdy model.

 "Broke quickly" 2009-07-05
By K. Ray (Delmar, MD USA)
I bought this to transport papers from my car into buildings (not a lot of them, less than two reams of papers at any given time). It broke the third day I took it into a building. I bought one for $10 less from Staples becasue I didn't have time to return this and wait for a new one. The cheaper one is going strong and I have loaded that one heavily.
