I have owned the Keyspan Presentation Remote for several years and used it several times a week during that period to teach University level classes. This remote has served me faithfully and reasonably efficiently for all that time and I have a hard time writing anything bad about it. However, it does have some flaws such as the fact that it is hard to control the forward and backward movement of slides with the thumb wheel without making a mistake. Also about once a year the remote will become unsynchronized with the USB receiver requiring resynchronization. Not a big deal, but still a pain, especially if it happens at an awkward time and you don't happen to have the manual around to show you the procedure for doing this (it isn't intuitive).
I still have this remote but recently upgraded to the Keyspan Presentation Remote Pro and the improvements are dramatic. Before using the Pro, I probably would have given this remote 4 stars, but now by comparison to the Pro this one drops to 3 (the pro is 5+ stars). Given that the Pro is only about $12 more expensive, it is a no-brainer to spend the extra cash and get the Pro imo.
Using hyperlinks to bring up reference slides for discussion and then a hyperlink to go back on topic is not smoothly accomplished.
Compared to using a mouse, getting the pointer to appear and move to the hyperlink button is not easily controlled. The uncertain movement detracts from the presentation.
Consider two or more references that are required to address audience questions. None or only one reference might be needed which makes mouse clicks impractical for navigation.
The Keyspan PR-US2 Presentation Remote is great for instructors that like to walk around a room while teaching. You are not tied down to a computer or have to rely on someone else to change slides. The lazer pointer is a great way to highlight something in your slide as well. This is a great all in one remote.
This product works great. I had lost my last Presentation pointer. No Question I had to buy another just like it.
Have used my Keyspan for over three years - only changed the battery once; how? When you are done with your presentation, flip the battery over in its space - no pain and no drain! You'll only start a presentation once without flipping it back, presuming you are trainable!
Very easy to use, comfortable to hold. Haven't needed the laser much or the mouse-pad for on-screen pointer.
All in all, a slick device! There are cheaper and of course more expensive, but I find this one to have to broadest application for the price.

The Keyspan has worked wonderful from day one. I am using it with a Mac for presentations with my company at least once a week. It has never failed me. Very easy to use, comfortable in my hand and the "plug and Play" aspect of it makes it all the easier. Thank you Keyspan for a great product.
Bought first in 2003, second today. Great device. I talk for a living and have to have this. Considered others but scroll wheel makes it easy, fits my hand perfectly. Doubles as mouse. Could not be easier. Everyone that sees it wants one. Have to keep an extra battery handy though (or would be 5 stars).
This works great. I have no complaints. It's easy to hold, is unobtrusive, and has features found in the more expensive products. I like that it can also simultaneously be used to control media players, so you can manage background music, as well. The "joystick" center button I found a little difficult to use for precise motion. It comes with a nice little carrying bag, with a separate pocket to store the USB device.
We frequently send the Keyspan remote out on sales presentations or for production use in large shows. Often as not, once our clients see and use the remote, they want to keep it.
One star subtracted for a slightly confusing interface and no media mode support on the Mac; otherwise a nearly-perfect unit.
The product works as advertised, like a charm. Delivery was earlier than projected. All around I am very satisfied.

the printer will not stop functioning when the ink expire. Would of did copy and paste here but amazon stops you from doing that some how.
I am seconding the review below that complained about wasting ink. The printer quality is fine, the ink quality is fine. But the system by which the printer shuts down if the ink is "expired" is frustrating. Even if it is one of the color cartridges you cannot solely print in black and white. This leaves you having to reset the date on your computer to some past time in order to get your print jobs done. Obviously if you are doing a ton of printing and you will use every cartridge within a couple of months, this won't create the same level of problem (although I have had cartridges with 2007 expiry dates "expire" as far as the printer was concerned within a couple of months -- they are made by HP in India, I notice, so I suspect that quality control may have a few glitches -- but at these prices it is aggravating.)
This expiry system is such a poor feature that I can only give it a three. If they would remove this feature, it would be an easy five since the quality of the ink is quite good.
This would be good if you were using up all the ink in each cartridge at least every 9 months or so. If you print a lot of photos year-round it would be a good system. The problem HP built into this system is that the cartridges expire (and may not have much time on them when you buy them--and there is no marking on the box or unit to tell you the expiration date). If you knew that the cartridges had not been sitting around the store and the warehouse you might be ok. If even one of the colors has expired the printer gives an error message and WILL NOT PERMIT YOU TO PRINT. So the net result is YOU HAVE TO THROW AWAY HALF FULL CARTRIDGES!!! This eliminates any potential savings. There is a way to get around this by setting the date on your computer back so the printer thinks that the cartridges are not expired but this is tedious. The ink is still good and they could have simply given a warning and let the customer the right to decide if they wanted to change ink before it was used up. This might be good for a professional or serious amateur photographer. If you print occasionally and are trying to pinch pennies be warned that this printer will not save you money on ink.
This printer family is wonderful if you do a lot of printing. The printers are pretty costly, but because you can replace each color of ink separately, and replace the printing jet heads for each color separately also, you can save a lot on replacement supplies. These ink cartridges hold a *lot* of ink.<p>By comparison, with a lot of cheap printers, if the yellow runs out, or the holes in the magenta printing jet plug, you need a whole new cyan-yellow-magenta ink-and-jet cartridge -- and the cartridges usually hold very little ink.<p>This type of ink has excellent darkness range, from very faint gray to very high-contrast black. The color cartridges have great color range. Together, the overall color range is almost as good as a specialty "photo" printer, but the ink doesn't cost nearly as much. While it really looks great on fancy paper, it works well even on cheap paper...
This is a great printer and the ink cartridge system is tops - but this item is available elsewhere for much less. Amazon should do better than this.

I am so happy with this product! It does just what I was told it would do and since I got a rechargeable battery with it I can take it anywhere.
After purchasing and returning a few HP Photo printers, this is the first model that actually worked. Be warned though, if you remove the print cartridge for any reason while it is still full, the printer electronically marks it as "used" and it will not print with that cartridge again. HP has decided that preventing customers from using refillable cartridges is more important than happy customers.
On screen step by step instructions make this product so easy to use. Amazed with the features that this product offers. I don't think you will find it at a better price. Try it.
I love this printer. It works really well. Its super easy to find ink and photo paper for it as well. Its definitely cheaper to purchase the combo pack of ink and paper. You can even get it at Walmart. Definitely worth the money if you like to take pictures.
I got this printer so that my kids could print photos for their scrapbooking projects. It was easy to use right out of the box and produces great photos. They have so much fun using the special features to edit the photos. The stylus included makes editing the photos (writing captions, decorations) very fun.
I would definitely recommned this printer.

I bought this printer to replace an old HP, a display model bought off the floor at Office Depot 4?? years ago. The old printer and cartridges easily printed 100+ pix with no loss of quality--but, it finally died. I really like the large view screen, editing choices and print quality of the A636, however it came with just a starter cartridge that only printed 2 test sheets, 1 good pix and then ran out of blue ink. Somewhere it should be stated that you should immediately buy cartridges, and a USB cable also not included. Also read the reviews of the 110 ink cartridge-I didn't and probably would not have selected this printer based on the really poor amount of prints I'm going to get. All of my printers, laser and photo quality, are Hewlett-Packard products, and this is the first one I'm not totally happy with. Printer itself gets an A, but the ink cartridge gets an F.

So, I IMMEDIATELY (within 24 hrs.!)received the product from the company, after I called them, and the product was everything I needed it to be. Amazon, however, will not be my ordering source, any longer!
The explanation of how to use the paper was priceless. THE END PRODUCT AFTER USING THE PAPER -I give 3 and 1/2 stars.
I make calendars for family Christmas gifts and this paper is great. Works fine and pics come out good.
I've used this paper millions of times over the years, and what I received was the correct product, but this is the first time it's arrived warped - it's vertically curving, and the prints never lie flat. Which is a major disappointment.
I use this paper for Christmas cards and can print inside and out with photos. I love it.

Among many of similar paper products this offers the best results if one is seeking clean, professional looking print outs from an ink jet printer. I would have to say however that I am and have been a frequent consumer of Espon products, and the results I receive are supported by using an Espon Printer and their inks. My use of these papers is in connection with original designs and art work but on the occasions that I have reproduced photos I get the same amazing results from not only this type paper but all the professional grade products Espon offers. These are not the least expensive papers but in comparison the quality outweighs the price.
For personal use these match or at times exceed the highest standards of reproduction. As a former Art Director for a large printing company in Manhattan my simple printer Stylus 1280 and the paper products of Epson for use with them is outstanding. Aside from owning equipment as do the printing companies you cannot get any closer to the same output and the paper has a great deal to do with it. Other printers are fine, other papers are good but Espon seems to have accomplished what the others have not, professional print outs from very basic equipment for home studio or personal photo reproduction. I have been using Espon products for about twelve years and have never been disappointed.
I've tried many types of paper with my Epson 1280 - and this is the one to use. Kodak's consumer double matte paper leaves lines (very light, but visible)and and the colors are not as rich. Kodak and Epson's regular photo paper do the same thing. Epson matte paper is inexpensive and consistently makes rich beautiful prints.
This stuff is GREAT. Inexpensive, it feels very good and the prints look great. When I bought it from Amazon it was creased when I got it but otherwise it is really great paper.
I purchased this paper to print-out cards we designed for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We have a wedding photo on the front, and additional images inside. There is no bleeding of the ink into the paper, the weight of the paper is perfect. The cards turned out beautiful!
