Liking my ipod5
I am not a part of the ipod craze, but are using the unit to play audio of some conferences I was apart of. You have to go through some hoops to get video that is .wmv to be changed into mp4 format for the unit, so I use it audio. Also, if you want to use it in an older car, you have to have a special adapter unit to get it to talk to the radio if you don't have an auxilary input. All in all it is a very good unit.

Pleased so far...except for the skipping!3
So far I like the 120 classic. I've had it for a couple of months now and it does what I want it to do, but I'm not as particular as some. A couple of issues I've had:

-Biggest issue for me: it will start playing a song and about half to 3 quarters through it will skip to the next song. Sucks!

-iTunes seems to have trouble populating album art. I'd ripped all of my music through Win Media Player, so I populated iTunes with my preloaded music. Anyway, some music that had album art already populated through WMP won't load in iTunes and it won't populate automatically through iTunes either, so I got nadda. Kinda sucks when coverflow is supposed to be a big deal for this release. I don't even use it.

-I'd have to say sound quality does not appear to be as good as a previous (cheaper) mp3 player I've owned, but it's not enough for me to worry about.

Overall, not bad. As a matter of fact, I'm thinking of buying one for my wife for Christmas. I do think Apple should be "getting it right" by now on these issues, though. They've been doing this long enough that the consumer shouldn't have to worry about forking over $250 for their product and not being completely pleased. Hopefully a software update will handle it, but I'm not holding my breath. More to follow as issues arise...
