Not much to say other than bought this cartridge at great price. It was shipped very quickly and was well packaged. Haven't installed yet, as my current one has a bit of ink left. It was manufactured in Puerto Rico and had an expiration date > 12 mos.

I'm sorry to have to give a very poor review of the HP #78 Tri-Color Inkjet Cartridge I ordered. I did receive it promptly but when I inserted it into my computer the ink was obviously dried out because all I got was a faint blue. I looked on the box and found a date of 2005 which to me should not have been sold to me in the end of 2008. I notified the seller and he said send it back and my money would be refunded. I did this and also asked for my expense of shipping it back but he never refunded this.
I was looking forward to buying other items on Amazon.com but as this was my first experience I do not know if I can trust the items I will be buying.



Needed a replacement color cartridge, I prefer brand name so this is the correct product to buy. Excellent product!


Works just fine! and arrived on time! so I did not have to drive anywhere to get it!


I am very pleased with the quality of color I get from this ink. I received it from the manufacturer in just a few days after ordering.


The ink had leaked out the bottom a little when it arrived. This made the first 20 color copies different color shades than expected. It adjusted to normal after that and has been working great. I probably got more than 20 more copies out of this color cartridge than an original and I was able to use those oddly colored pages anyway. The product was shipped on time. I will be a repeat customer (though I would appreciate some additional packaging to keep the bottom from leaking during shipping)(some tape-type tab is placed there with the originals and other refurbished I've purchased in the past).


As always, HP inks always deliver great quality. They are a bit pricey compared to other manufacturers though.


I know the HP brand is more expensive than the knock-offs, but I've tried the cheap ones & had nothing but problems. The last one I tried clogged my printer so bad I had to run a cleaning cycle a bunch to get it working.


This is a very reliable print cartridge, with vibrant colors and good longevity.
